1 June - Founder’s Day - Our Day Together - Save The Date!

We are thrilled to announce that the highly anticipated Founder's Day event is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for Saturday, 1 June, as Dulwich College Suzhou invites you to join us for an exhilarating celebration that promises to be the highlight of the year.

Jointly organised by Friends of Dulwich (FoD) and our school, the Founder's Day is the grandest community event of the year, bringing together the whole community for an unforgettable day of fun, entertainment, and beautiful memories. From 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, our beautiful campus will transform into a vibrant hub of excitement, offering a wide array of activities and attractions for everyone to enjoy.

This event will not come together without the great efforts and contribution from our great parent community. Our International Food Fair, which is an essential part of the event, will again take place at 3:15 PM in the Senior School Sports Hall. Please come to enjoy the authentic food, drinks and cultural elements from our families. 

Performances, Shows and Exhibitions

Throughout the event, our talented students will showcase their talents through cultural performances, art exhibitions, as well as music recitals. Watch as our musicians, dancers, and actors/actresses take the stage, including our annual legendary Battle of the Bands! Apart from students, our parents also actively get involved in the performances. 

All for Charity

Founder's Day is not only a celebration of our vibrant community but also an opportunity to give back. In line with the theme of the event this year which is Gratitude, we are delighted to share that income of this event will go to the below charity projects:

• Warm winter project

To provide school uniform, warm clothes, desks and chair, beddings for the students in Hexian School in Gansu.

• Sunflower Smiles

Ongoing funding to Suzhou Children's Hospital affiliated with Suzhou University. Recent donation includes funding to help a little boy to complete surgery.

• Loving paws

The ongoing collaboration between our community and Suzhou Animal Protection Association (SAPA) shows the great love and care to animals. We aim at supporting SAPA with buying more dog food, shelter and facilities.

We are proud of our tradition about charity involvement and as parents and family members, what we contribute to the community will show as a role model to our children. That is how the spirit of gratitude and contribution will carry on. By attending the Founder’s Day, you'll not only have a fantastic time but also contribute to those who are in need. 

Fun of Treasure Hunt

Apart from all that, we also create more fun for the Founder’s Day this year. One example is the Treasure Hunt activity. Discover treasures galore at our Founder’s Day celebration! Explore every nook and cranny at our event to uncover hidden treasures and they are yours. Don’t miss out on the excitement – hunt, discover, and celebrate with us!
